Mold Repair Tech

Description: 

Under the direction of the Die Maintenance Supervisor, the primary role of the Mold Repair Technician is to support the production team to ensure that molded components can be manufactured safely without interruptions while meeting the company targets.

Responsibilities: 
  • Trouble shoot and repair molds
  • Bench work, hand grinding, diamond polishing
  • Welding
  • CNC mills and EDM set-up
  • Hydraulics
  • Ability to run manual mills, lathes, drill press, etc.
Requirements: 

Experience Required:
3-5 years in injection molds, die repair, and blow molding.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Extrusion dies.

Education Required:
High School Diploma or a GED Certification.

Position is often required to work overtime on little or no notice, and to work varied shifts to conduct duties.
