Validation Engineer
Under the direction of the Design & Engineering Department Manager, validate products in a timely manner, achieving company goals for quality, cost, and delivery. Support the assigned manufacturing areas in meeting objectives for productivity, quality, and associate safety. Meet with customers to determine specifications and requirements for lighting products.

- Develop/Negotiate Validation Plans with the customer
- Develop and submit Legal Compliance Reports
- Comprehend testing specifications and perform required tests
- Publish detailed testing reportsAnalyze /Root Cause tested samples
- Publish 8'Ds, 5 why's, etc. (OEM Root Cause/Action Report)
- Understand customer fixture requirements and assist in procurement.
- Participate in design review's to review drawings/data, and identify problems that may arise during testing and recommend improvements.
- Attend and participate in New Product Development (NPD) meetings as scheduled.
- Provide support to the new product development and engineering sections.
- Provide support to manufacturing for current production engineering changes.
- Performs other duties, tasks, or projects at the direction of immediate supervisor.
Experience Required:
5-10 years of working experience as a Validation Engineer
Education Required:
B. S. degree in engineering or engineering technology preferred.
